Western Digital Red 3TB

or

Barracuda 7200.14 ST3000DM001 3TB 7200 RPM

for raid 0?
I'm going to use this as apart of my editing rig

The Cuda's cause they are cheaper, faster and just as reliable. All drives fail, esp. the WD's since the flood. Give yourself a belated Xmas gift by not buying into all the Seagate bashing, it's just rumor exhuming from way back in 2007 with a bad batch of 1.5's. If you're the timid type, you can buy a 3 or 5 year warranty and they'll still undercut the Red's. Be smarter than the watercooler jimmies!

The exhuming will follow this post, guaranteed.

I've had nothing but great experiences with my WD drives, and bad experiences with my Seagate drives, but I agree with the above.
