RAID 0 with fresh Vista Install--Help!

I'm setting up a RAID 0 in my new computer with two unformatted Raptor X 150 GB drives. I have an EVGA 680i MOBO and I configured RAID in the Integrated Peripherals in the BIOS. The next time I rebooted, it took me to the RAID utility and I selected "Striping" as the RAID mode and "Optimal" as the Striping Block. I added both Raptors to the Array and finished. I then designated the new Array as a "Boot" Array.

I created two partitions in the Array using Vista advanced setup, a large one for Vista and all the applications I'm going to install and a small 25 GB partition for XP which I'm also going to eventually install.

Here's the weird part, after installing Vista into the new Array, I show 244 GB free. If I am running RAID 0, shouldn't it read less than 150 GB?

What did I screw up?

RAID0 is a combination of 2 drives with absolutely no redundancy so the total space should show the sum of all of the drives involved.
