ok..im completely new to RAID so can u please help me out. I have a 36 gig HD(5400 rpm) tat i wanna use for my os system files and other such. I jus bought 2 80 gig 7200 rpm seagate barracudas and want to raid it .. I have a card in mind cuz its cheap. The link is http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PCIATA133-NB.. I am wondering if this card is ok and using RAID 0, will it jus create a fat 160 gig hd or wat? I have no idea, like i said so any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, with two 80GB hard drives in a RAID 0 you would get 160GB of usable capacity. Windows will interpret it as one drive, but you can parition it however you please. As for the RAID controller, there's no manufacturer listed on the link you provided and I can't tell who it is by looking at the pictures, so I'm not sure what to think of it. $23 for an IDE RAID card is incredibly cheap, so I would be a little suspicious of the quality and performance of the card.
