Raid 0 - Striping an existing drive?

Alright I know there a million questions about raid out there, but I couldn't find specific info for what I'm trying to do.

I have onboard ide raid on my motherboard, and while trying to install drivers during a fresh WinXP setup I kept getting some error like:

TXTSETUP.OEM caused an unexpected error (18) at line blah blah blah....d:\winxp\blah blah blah

This also happened on my old motherboard (with a different raid controller), so I would assume this is something related to XP?

My other question is....since I went ahead and installed my os on a single drive...is it possible to stripe the current hard drive across the 2 without losing my current install? It's not a huge deal if I lost this install, but it's always a pain in the arse to redo everything. Any help?

Can't stripe "on the fly." Ya gotta blow start from scratch. Make sure you're using the correct drivers for your controller and that the disk has no errors on it (very common with floppies).
