RAID 0 Setup Issue On A Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H Motherboard

I just completed a new build with a GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard. It had one of Intel's new 40GB SSDs. Everything ran great. That is until I read Anand's article on how fast they were in a RAID 0 array. So, what did I do? Of course, I bought another one, installed it, and attempted to create an array. Setup was fine until I reached the point of actually creating the array in the RAID utility built into the board. I select the option to create the array and it does nothing. It is almost as if it thinks there are no drives present, but before it lets you in the RAID utility, it scans the drives! Go figure. If someone has created a RAID array with this board, please tell me how to get by this point.
