Raid 0 plus new drive

I have a ABIT KT7a Raid mother board with two IBM 30 mg drives set up as Raid 0. Total 50 meg.
I have a new 80 meg Maxtor drive that my CD doesn't like on the IDE controller and Maxtor doesn't like the CD drive either.
Can I install the Maxtor on the Raid secondary as a single drive unrelated to the Raid 0? I don't want to lose my Raid 0 setup messing around with something I'm not sure of.
In the past I have been Running the Raid ) and Ghosting to IDE 0. Worked fine for a couple of years until all of a sudden I get and error Ghosting "UnNamed file 6722" and the MFT file is screwed up.
Any suggestions?

Depends on what type of RAID chipset you have. My Highpoint HPT374 Chipset will allow it.
Try reinstalling Ghost and make a new boot disk
