RAID 0 On a P35 NEO2 motherboard

Hello, I just got all of the components on my computer build and I am attempting to do a RAID0 on 2 identical hard drives, a first for me. The problem is that the manual that came with the motherboard is less than helpful and doesn't mention any BIOS settings that need to be on in order to raid these hard drives. I have messed around with the settings and have put the onboard ata devices for hard drives into raid. The problem that I am finding is that when the computed is posting and I select control+I like the manual says I don't get to the raid options. Once after doing some reaserch I hit control+H then control+I and was able to get to these settings and raid my hard drives but then my cd drives that I needed to install the drivers for raid no longer were recognized.Now I am unable to do any combination of control I's and H's to get back to the raid menu. I figure that I might have a BIOS setting wrong but I don't know, Like I said the manual kinda stinks. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I figured out again how to raid the drives. However when they are raided in order to see them I need to select the option in my bios to disable the "extra" IDE controller. However when I do this my IDE cd/dvd drives are no longer recognized which I need to install vista. And when I enable this feature in bios my cd drives are seen but then my RAID drive is no longer seen, How can I get around this?
