RAID 0-ing two 80gb WD 8mb SE's... what size stripe?

I searched, but didn't find much.
Any info would be helpful.

Computer will have XP pro and is used extensively for graphics.
I have RAIDed this computer before, I just can't recall what the optimum stripe size should be.

16kb for small files and larger stripe size if you're working with large files so I read from archived threads

64k is optimal for general use. It works well for just about everything. If you can't find a reason to use a different stripe size, you (usually) can't go wrong with 64.

Thanks guys, I'll give 64k a shot because I'm typically using pretty large files 20MB +.

Given the drives' own large cache I'd say no less than 128K, probably 256K, as a starter; if you're doing video at high res or high frame rates then larger may be better, but to be honest it makes very little difference when the OS is cacheing multi-MB; sadly you can't dictate what the write buffer(s) is(/are).
