RAID-0 CHKDSK Produces Errors in Windows

I actually have 2 problems.

1. I tried using "Check for Errors" in O&O Defrag Pro. Everytime it runs it just produces errors. I'm starting to believe there really might be errors. I'm not sure if this has something to do with being a RAID or what-not. However my computer is still booting fine and all. Data is all still read-able. Degfraging the Drive is working as well. Just can't CHKDSK at all.

RAID-0: WD 160GB 2.5" HDDs

2. Recently, after about 2 weeks of usage, I started getting weird access errors. Sometimes I would cut and paste a file to a folder with the same file name and overwrite the file in the folder. But the weird thing happens here. It soon says "Access Denied or File is in Use". I refresh the folder it looks like the file is still there but it really isn't. I can log off and log back in to Windows and it disppears. So the file I'm trying to copy over is still there but the one I tried to overwrite disppears on it's own after logging in. I have the same problem with my Recycling Bin as well. First I"ll dump files and folders in there, and then I would empty it. But it wouldn't empty properly. The files are gone but it says the folder "WINDOWS" is in there. Now that didn't sound good. But everytime I tried to empty it again, it would says "Access Denied: Error Dc16" or something like that. If I log off and login it works again though.

Has anyone ever had this problem? It truly was a bad sector wouldn't it just render my windows inoperable? Any help is greatly appreciate.

EDIT: I plan on doing some major backup tonight too just incase...

That software couldn't read my RAID's Physically, so no SMART data to show. It does detect it thought. When I try to run a diagnostic test on it, it says "Error: Check Cables", obviously my drives are working. Even Intel Matrix Storage Console says they're "OK" Is it possible that on the P5B-DX Intel Matrix for RAID doesn't allow you to read SMART data? Someone told me that some RAID controllers don't allow for SMART data to be read. But the weird thing is that my drive that isn't a RAID drive but on the same controller is reading the SMART data just fine.

So anyone have a clue?
