Raid 0 card recommendation for 64bit win7 system

Here's the deal - I have read through a fair share of the raid threads but didn't find the right one. I have tons of storage for backups and other stuff. My main concern is speeding up the day to day. I have another system with an intel G2, but I feel a bit contrained with the 80GB. So, I have two of the 640s I'd like to put to use.

Question:

What is the best cheap card (under $50) that will run two SATA WD640s in RAID O on an ABIT IP35-e? I have only the video card on the ABIT. I am planning on WIN7 64bit.

Thanks.

You'd think. But, I don't feel like ripping it out and going through the hassle. I have 2.2ghz C2D running at 3.3ghz stable for two years and I don't want to mess with it.

This okay?

or this?

well if that is the case then I would not suggest what you posted.
I think you sould look for Max performance with little budget you have.
Facts:
You have SATA II Drives
You going to use Win 7 64bit
Possible: You may have Free PCIe slot ????
if that is the case look into Rosewill RC-211
It has Silicon Image port and it does support Vista 64, It has Sata II ports and off course it is PCIe.
What ya think ?

Both those cards are the same and will not give you the performance of the ICH10R.

I'd go with Mir's suggestion with a PCIe card.
