RAID 0 and partitions?

Quad

i have 2 40gb maxtors and i want to put them in raid 0 on my a7v133. is it possible for drives in raid 0 to be partitioned? for example, i'd want a 4gb partition, and then the rest of the space as a second partition. is this possible? and how would i go about doing this

thx in advance

The procedure is no different than it would be for any other disk drive.

Fdisk for Windows 98 and earlier. On XP (and assuming NT and 2K) Administrative Tools | Computer Management | Disk Management.

In that the Drive is created at the BIOS level, the partitioning software is unaware that you even HAVE multiple drives.

Have fun.
