Can I run Raid 0+1 with two 20GB HD's(Raid 0)and one 46GB HD(Raid 1)? They will all be IBM Deskstar 75GXP's @7200rpm. The motherboard is an ABIT KT7A-Raid.

I belive if you want Raid 0+1 you are going to need 4 drives. Raid 1 is basically a mirror. Raid 0 is not fault tolerant Raid 1 is. So if you want to have fault tolerance, you would need to mirror both drives.

See this website for a detailed explanation. It not only explains Raid 0+1 but all the other types of Raid as well: Raid 0+1 Defined
