You should try the same with ATi.

Since you've never used their cards, you should try not commenting on them.
You'd seem much smarter than way.

Who's "way"?

LOL. (j/k). I know what you meant.

Back on topic though, I hope Anandtech will learn something about benching video cards at equal driver settings like rage3D has done. Maybe if benchmark sites begin to regain my trust I won't have to invest in as many video cards and won't have to find out myself in the future.

AT have been slacking off recently. Dont review cases, cooling solutions, monitors etc as they use too..

Actually I have used their cards for almost 10 years. I still use their cards (currently Radeon Mobile). I also fix computers, so I come across other ATI cards all the time.

hate to blow your ad campaign, but he's talking a 256mb XT for < $300, not current 512mb for $350 (actually they can be found for about $330)

I did not see any 256MB listed.

listed where? read the article; it's due for release with the x1950....
So then why would you argue about me recommending a card that you can actually buy for a good price, over a card that you can not buy anywhere? Not too mention that when you can (some day) you have no idea of it's actual cost?

because your reply was specifically in response to a quote on the upcoming x1900xt, and you twisted it around by stating they were $350, and 7900gt's were cheaper, when in fact the subject was about the upcoming 256mb xt all along...

basically you trolled and and changed the subject and misrepresented the facts -- you jumped in quoting a price on a different card than what was being talked about in an attempt to make your product look better by making the 256mb 1900xt appear to cost more than it actually did. in fact, the price you quoted on the current 512mb x1900xt was even high...

does that make it clear?

And he says I post like a saleman, and take money from ATi for posting? Wow.

Wonder when the last time hes owned a highend ATi card? Hes always talking about driver quality, IQ, etc. Untill you own a card, and use it every day for your games, etc. you're not "using" it.

IF you're using a Radeon Mobile graphics X1400 (or quite possibly much worse), then yes, it's very different from using CCC and playing with ATI in modern games at high resolutions, etc.
