Rage - should I keep playing?

I liked the game, in a FPS stopping to look at textures is not a big deal so that never bothered me. But the forced racing BLEW.. I enjoy racing games and have a nice cockpit setup. but the racing in RAGE was bad, really bad.. once I knew i was forced to race i quit. Have been thinking of firing it up again as that was my only real complaint. I do agree the FPS part, nothing new here, but nothing that bad either.
 
I only enjoy Rage for the co-op missions. Just little fun episodic missions to do with a friend when I got the time since my gaming time is limited. I find it good for that. Oh that carnival mission was creepy as hell.
