Vaudeville is not calling means don't quite your day job to become a stand-up comedian. You're the only one laughing at your jokes.

No, I certainly don't like the low resolutions in Rage, but I absolutely love all the unique textures the engine provides and I know for a fact the engine holds the promise of providing ultra high resolutions in the future. Doom 4 will be the first game to use AMD's new hardware acceleration for the technology and it will also be adapted to use the new Oculus Rift VR headset. Screw minor improvements in DoF or some gimmicky new Wii remote, I want my holodeck and this technology is providing it within the next two years.

I got it off Steam for 10 bucks but I haven’t downloaded it yet. I hope I won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed playing Rage and if you keep playing it just gets better and better. I have completed the whole game so I must of enjoyed it

I liked it too while playing it and kept saying to myself "why does everyone hate this game so much, its a great shooter?"

Then I got to the end..... and thought "what a rushed ending and ripoff that was!"
I mean, the ending wasn't really completed and ready for release IMO.

Yeah, Carmack just apologized for the ending, the lack of objects you can interact with in the game, and the horrible PC support in his Quakecon address. More importantly he promised those problems would not happen again. He implied Bethesda is riding id's ass to stop focusing on the technology and whatnot so much and start producing home runs.
