Also, apparently smoking also causes cancer but this is a very new study and I have not been able to find any resources.

I just found it amusing that they did a "new" study on radon. We've known this for YEARS. Same with asbestos being bad. This is OLD news.

Really. I recall getting a radon test by the inspector when I bought my house.

Next up: screwing trannies in the inner-city might give you HIV. Doing lines of coke off midget prostitutes and then taking your citizenship test might not go as planned. Using antifreeze as a mixer is ill-advised.

I have always questioned these findings.

Especially when you compare This map of radon severity

With this map of lung cancer rates

If there IS a conclusive risk link, wouldn't the high rates line up more with the higher radon concentration?

The funny part is they line up in the opposite fashion.

Low Radon -> High Lung Cancer
High Radon -> Low Lung Cancer
