Radlinker Overclock on a Non-Pro 9800

I have a 9800 Non-Pro and I plan to overclock it useing Radlinker. That seemed to be a pretty popular program. Any objections to useing it? Anyway, how much should I raise the FPS at a time? Like, 10 FPS than run doom 3 or 3DMArk03 for awhile and repeat the process. Or can I just bump it straight up to 9800 pro speeds or better yet 9800xt speeds? Thoughts and Opions are appreciated. Thanks.
