I bought this multimeter for $35.00 in a Radio Shack store in the San Francisco Bay Area last week. I noticed they are sold out online. My guess is that you can find them in stores. The number is Model: 2200087, Catalog # 2200087. They are also selling on EBAY for $34.99. They were $69.99.

I’ve been looking at them for awhile. I’ve always bought Radio Shack Multimeters because I can afford them and they have worked. A Fluke will cost you well over $100.

here's a link to the PDF, Manual for it:

Warning: Radio Shack is in bankruptcy and is trying to sell their customer data to the highest bidder. If you give them your information, they have no intention of honoring their stated privacy policy.

Also, you might or might not be able to get warranty service on any house brand items that you buy.

Thanks for the privacy warning. I haven't given Radio Shack any personal information for over 20 years. I paid cash for my meter.

Its funny, one time I was in a Radio Shack and I gave the cashier a phony name and address because he was insistent. Then he was trying to correct the information and he asked me again. I told him write down anything. I told him I had just made that up. He became really upset and told me that I might have gotten him fired.

That might have been the best thing to ever happen to him.

BTW: I also bought several sets of testing leads because they were also 33% or more off. I usually make my own testing leads but these were cheap.
