New Radio Shack flier has the Sharp OZ800 listed at $60 - $20 rebate. Web page at Radio Shack shows two valid rebates, one for $20 and one for $25. The $20 appears to be valid from 10/01/2002 to 01/31/2003 and requires the original UPC. The $25 rebate apppears valid from 12/28/2002 to 1/12/2003 and accepts a copy of the UPC.

Interesting OZ800 web page.

I know nothing about these PDAs.

Got the new Radio Shack flyer today, there ia Sharp PDA with 10MB Ram. It appears to be this model (no guarantee). The price is 39.99 after a 20.00 rebate

The hardware is really nice, thin, small, and well built. But the software is absolutely trash!. The PC synchronization program crashed everytime I tried to download Outlook schedule from PC (there was no problem with email and address download). I tried on two PCs. Same thing. I was using WinXP and Outlook2002.

Anyone else got the problem? I am very disappointed.

I got mine online earlier today, since none of my local stores had any in stock. Now it seems to be a dead deal since the website states that they are out of stock. Might work if you order by phone...

It took 4 phone calls, but I found them in stock today (1/10) in Phila area (Paoli store ... and possibly Ardmore).

Both rebates printed directly on the receipt -- the manager was surprised to see a $59.99 item with $45 off, but it is clearly legit.

Someone complained about data synchronisation -- which I won't use anyway, but this 10MB unit happily accepts lots of files with text, data, etc ... which makes it a supremely portable information source. I had no trouble downloading from PC, but files over 30K are troublesome, so it's best to chop up your data into smaller bits. Frankly, now that I have read reviews, it seems the 700 series are much more versatile -- but also aren't selling for $15 !

This hot deal ends SOON -- purchase must be made by 1/12 to get the $25 rebate (the $20 is good until 1/31)

RS makes it easy to get a list of stores and phone numbers near you (just enter zip).

I have tried in some RS in NJ/NY... none has them ! (Won't it be cool if they show inventory real-time on the web ! )
