Radio Shack Nibbler Tool

I have read that someone used a nibbler tool from radio shack to cut hole for a fan in their case. Do you have to pre-drill a hole to get started? I don't own a drill, so it would be a prob if i had to have a hole to start my nibbling. The thing is only 10$ at the local store and i'm about to get it so i can set up a fan blowing at my cpu.

Borrow a drill from someone.

I have a nibbler tool and you need a small starter
hole to insert the cutting head. It takes a little
work but you can get decent results.
One word of advice wear work gloves.

You can punch the starter hole with a hammer and a nail if you're careful but a drill would be the safest way (on the metal anyway) to do it..

I second the gloves.. get thick leather ones.. I did a small 60mm hole without using gloves and had blisters on my hands after the fact though I didn't realize it till after I finished..
