Bought a cheapo adjustable radiator vent to replace one that's cracked in my apartment (I know I should get a better one, but I'm not spending more on this place than I have to - and our maintenance guy has managed to avoid coming to fix it for almost 2 months).
Anyway, the adjustable one I got has 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 7/8 and fully open rather than #4, #5, #6, C, D and #1. Am I correct in assuming that those numbers correspond to each other in the order I listed? We're in a 3rd floor apartment, so I'm guessing I want to set it at 1/2 (#6) or possibly 3/4 (C)?
