Radian VE-Anyone?

If so, please tell us what you can about it. What did you upgrade from, is it better, how's it's performance, how's the TV out and DVD decoding? Would you buy it again? How does it compare to other Radian cards your friends may own, if you know? I'm trying to decide, but it appears ATI has severely castrated this card to the point it really doesn't resemble any of the other Radian cards and I'm wondering if this is no more than a glorified Rage Pro or if it really is a decent upgrade. Any help or comments will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I wouldn't say it's a bad upgrade if you have something old right now.
It's a 64 bit memory bus, and no Charisma engine. It still has DDR memory to off set the 64bit memory bus and it is a GPU. It's definately not a glorified Rage Fury Pro! 🙂
For like $83, or somewhere in that ball park, you could get it from newegg in the brown box version. With the tv-out and other tv features, and dual monitor support, it's worth getting. The gaming on it will probably be around GF2MX level, which isn't bad. I don't know why people knock this card so much; it's not bad for the money. Sometimes people are just too damn critical and spoiled. My only worry about the card would be the ATI drivers, which is a whole nother thread.
