I recently read the article on the x800GTOs using unsold R480/R430 Pro chips, and having looked them up they are extremely cheep for a card using one of these chips. I'm wondering, can an x800GTO using an R480 Pro core be up-clocked to the speed of an R480 Pro core? I assume if they are the exact chips, down-clocked, then with a bit of extra voltage can they be up-clocked to R480 Pro speeds?

R480 Pro Core: 520Mhz Core Clock / 1080Mhz Mem Clock
R480 Pro Core in x800GTO: 400Mhz Core Clock/ 980Mhz Mem Clock
>>Suppose if they are really the same core that they can reach the same speed, so it wouldn't really be an "over"clock so much as an "up"clock? If any has any experience with this part or suspicions about it, please post information.
