Just Recently, i got this card and installed it on my system. Just a moment ago, when i tried to launch realplayer video movie clips, it all suddenly freezes with cpu temperature of 52 degrees. I had benchmarks running perfectly fine, warcraft3 running for hours, and it does not crash.

I dont know what is going on. can it be my graphics card causing the problem?
I'm using CAT3.1 drivers.'

Thank you ~

Check your voltages and make sure it isn't a power supply issue. Radeon 9500 Pro uses alot of juice. I know your motherboard has a agp/pci lock, but make sure it is enabled because the Radeon 9500/9700 doesn't tolerate high agp bus speeds very well.

where is it? u mean if i dip it down to 4x it will be ok?
I did not overclock, does that mean the powersupply isn't the issue now?
Btw, have installed Catalyst 3.2 now.

I'm in the same boat. I've done a fresh install and everything runs fine until I install the Catalyst drivers (I've tried 3.1 and 3.2). Then it locks up hard requiring a power-off.

Out of the blue one day my 9700 Pro running Cat. 3.2 decided to lock anytime I started any game. So I went back to default speed thinking it was an o'c issue and the same thing occured. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and all was good. I guess a driver file became corrupt somehow. It's been running like a champ ever since.

The Cat. 3.3's coming out better be real good ortherwise I'll go back to the 3.2's because other than that little hiccup I described, they've been rock solid for me since the day they were released.
