I don't play games anymore....but I just installed Quake3 just for the hell of it. Well........turns out my RadeonLE(191/191) using the Beta 6025 or the official drivers.....in big areas the framerates just DROP....down to single digits. I really didn't read or keep up with issues involving XP and Radeons .....but thats only cuz I didn't play games.

Tbird850mhz, 512MB PC133......etc. SB live.

I got the latest VIA drivers installed. I have a DFI AK75-EC board....and Sandra reports that my AGP is running at 1X although I enabled 4X in the bios and installed the AGP drivers from VIA......

???

When you installed your AGP drivers, did you select "TURBO" mode??

I had this prob on my Radeon on a KT133A board. AGP 4X would not function even though it was on in the BIOS unless I installed in TURBO mode.

Make sure your card is not running in PCI mode and make sure you don't have FSAA, anisotropic filtering or trueform enabled.
