monarch upped the price of their OEM XT850PE from $499 to $568

But...mwave still has the Oem (Powercolor ?) X850XT (non PE)..and they LOWERED the price $10 and its now $489 +s/h

Btw.i got this card too.

The "non platinum" is clocked 520/560 and the Platinum is 540/590. Thats the only difference speedwise.
You can EASILY clock the "non pe" to platinum levels and beyond !

If someone is looking for a half-way "affordable" X850XT, get this from mwave. Btw. this is an OEM card and VERY LIKELY Powercolor, and they told me warranty is one year through mwave.

Nice find flexy.

I can't wait til I get to try out my X850XT PE. This next weekends gonna be fun. Gonna be putting my new system together, and then get to test and see if I like ATi or nVidia better first hand. Whats nice is I won't have to actually physcially switch cards.

I'll try and post pics and benches, but don't know if I'll remember to do so when it'll be easy for me to. Also, will post my opinions and how well an ATi card and an nVidia card handle being in the same system together.

Oh, and Monarch deserves some props, they upped the shipping on both my BFG GT and the Connect3d X850 to 2nd day for free (was supposed to just be free regular ground).

Yeah, I figure they will. Most likely I'll create a dual boot, one with ATi and the other with nVidia.

Oh, and before people think I'm crazy, that'll just be for as long as it takes me to figure out which card I like better and then I will sell the other. I wish I had the money to burn to leave both in, but alas I don't.
