radeon x800xt vs x800xl

A friend of mine offered me THIS vid card for only 465 bucks. Brand NEW, and pci-e (I KNOW THE LINK IS FOR AN AGP..... but he is offerning PCI-E). (it also has VIVO but I don't care much about that)

I was looking at this one because of its price/performance ratio.

So here's the question:

How much better is the radeon x800xt vs the x800xl. Is it worth te extra 165 bucks???? both pci-e.

I would go with the XL. Same pipelines, but uses larger core and of course slower speed but overall a better value.

I wouldn't pay 50% more to get the performance the xt offers, but it's totally up to you.

Um. THe X850XT is the same price as the the one your friend is offering you. Brand new from store. I believe Newegg, or Zipzoom.

I would get a 6800gt....shader model 3.0 and is just as fast as an x800xl, so with SM3.0 is it more future proof
