Radeon x800xt question about fan speed

is there a way other than using ATI tray tools and such things to make the fan go 100% all the time instead of slower then faster when it is needed? registry hack?

I don't know but mine sounds like it goes 100% all the time. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to be quieter... and I have ATI TT installed.

Edit : I have the Gigabyte X800 XT PE btw.
