The only thing Newegg has over other sites is a very good search engine.
I have a much easier time finding things on Newegg than anywhere else.
Other than that though, they are not exemplary in any way. They used to have free shipping on almost everything, as well as great prices. Now they have poor prices on many items, they jack up the prices on in demand products, and they charge high shipping prices and will stack shipping prices even when they package items in the same box.
I've ordered several things from Newegg in the past, but now they will be one of the last places I order from. I still check them for items, but hopefully other sites will get their layout up to snuff and become even more attractive.
So far, SVC is one of my favorites, since I can actually will call stuff and pick it up with no shipping charges. They don't have the items some of the other places do, but they usually have very good prices and the ability to talk to someone in person is worth a little extra as well.
Anyway, enough of a rant.
I'm really looking forward to the X800XL, and hopefully the availability will increase quickly and prices will drop just as fast. I'm hoping that in a couple weeks there will be a plethora of A64 PCIe boards as well as a plethora of X800XL's and I will finally be able to get a new computer.
Mustap,
I think the X800XL will work fine with the dual rail power supply and as others have mentioned, the Powercolor version has an external power cable anyway. I'm currently running a Powercolor 9700Pro, and I have been quite happy with it, so I am hoping their X800XL is just as good to me.
