I bought the ECS AMD690GM mobo. it comes with Radeon x1250 onboard video, plus both VGA and DVI connections.
I plug the Dell 2001fp into the DVI port. I can only get 1280x1024 out of it. anything higher and i get a blank screen. I'm using Catalyst 8.1 (which came out this week).
I plug the Samsung 204B into the DVI port. 1600x1200 works fine.
WTF?! The 2001fp worked fine at 1600x1200 on my old AGP system (Radeon 9600).
Why can't the Dell 2001fp do 1600x1200 on the Radeon x1250?
