I have posted the following in the Video section and received no reponse. I hope someone in this forum can help!:

I have a Pentium II Dell XPS R450 (obviously an Intel chipset). I am running both Win98 and W2K. AIW Radeon installs fine in Win98 but in W2k all I have are problems. While the Radeon drivers (I have tried those on the cd and also those I have downloaded from the ATI website) install in W2K it seems I have no access to the card setting controls. After installing the card I am stuck using my monitor at the 800 x 600 display setting. I know the card allows you to reset the (screen) monitor "size" to match your display setting. This option is not available under my advanced display settings (the only tabs available are GENERAL,ADAPTER, MONITOR,and TROUBLESHOOTING). To top it all off the card is using a default monitor driver and will not allow me the option to use my monitor's driver (the monitor option does not appear in the Device Manager). After installing the card Plug and Play does not work and the Sony monitor is not installed. This is not a problem, however, when I install my old TNT card. Under the advanced display settings-MONITOR tab windows list only a default monitor with no option to change the monitor properties.

I have also installed both Powerstrip and Radtweak and neither has helped change my screen (monitor) size to match the display setting. I have installed and uninstalled the card a zillion times.
It is unfortunate since I really love how the card works in WIN98 and would be happy to just have control of my screen size and monitor settings in W2k (I can use WIN98 for entertainment but I need to work in W2k).

I have emailed ATI for help and have only received and automated response and I am also tired of getting a busy signal when calling tech support.

One possible obstacle I have not been able to overcome is after uninstalling the drivers for my old card (or the Radeon card) I have not been able to install the standard vga drivers. When using the Hardware wizard the standard vga driver is never listed as an option under display adapters (after I ask to select from a hardware list).
Is there another way to install the vga adapters?

I hope someone can help because I would hate to return this card.

Which radeon do you have. ATI has terrible drivers. I have the 32mb ddr and the latest drivers dont even work. The radeon was not designed for w2k and w2k is not a gaming system. Hope that helped :)
