Is this similar to the LE in speed or is it crippled even more?

Man, is this thing crippled. 800x600 quake is so slow... 33 fps or so in a regular single player 1 on 1. I'm using the drivers that came with the card 7075. I'm going to try the 7079's.

VE is clocked at 183mhz core/memory

LE is just like the Velocity 100 3dfx released a while ago, just registry crippled, not hardware. VE is hardware crippled I think.

How did you figure out that the VE is clocked at 183? What about the core? (BTW: I got 5.5 ns Hyundai memory chips.) I got Powerstrip Beta 3 and it gave me bogus readings on the core and memory. Which program did you use? Thanks in advance.
