Radeon Troubles....Drivers wont work on ME>

I have an AMD t-bird on an ABIT kt7 raid...with the Radeon 32meg ddr. But even the newest drivers wont work with the windows me...It keeps on saying windows protection error.

ANyone with the Radeon on an ABIT...please help me out. I think I might have the bios settings wrong...I have no clue on what some of those things mean.

Please help out a poor newbie.
 
I have this same problem! Can anyone help? I have reloaded Win ME several times, taken out everything that is not needed, and tried doing vid drivers before motherboard and viceversa. Please help!
 
Have you tried using the latest bios and possibly the beta bios?

I use a Radeon 64 DDR with my KT-7 Raid and WINME. The 3063 drivers have an install problem. Either use the 3056 or leaked 7020 drivers. I use the 7020 drivers now.
 
I use a Radeon on a KT7-RAID w/ Win98SE. Have you tried updatying *all* your drivers? VIA has a 4in1 pack with you need to install after you install your Radeon drivers. Also, the drivers shipped with your Radeon were probably (I'm guessing here) 3044, thats what I got and they dont work for sh!t. You need to use either 3056 (official) or 3063 (beta last I checked) then run VIA update and that should do it. Worked for me, but like I said, I use 98SE, cause with a IBM 75GXP, aint no way I'm usin ME......
