I've been having consistent problems with my video freezing, at first I thought it might be Ram or cooling issues but after I went through that stuff and everything checked out I went back to my vid card, a radeon ddr. I've tried completely uninstalling everything and reinstalling with no help and have done a fresh driver install 3x already. It would seem that the card isn't the problem but I have nothing else on the machine the specs are:
athlon 600
FIC SD-11
256mb crucial
30GB HD
Radeon DDR latest ATI released drivers
Netgear NIC
And that's it no sound because I use the MS Digital 80 USB speakers so there is no need for a sound card.
Also, I'm running XP.
This is exactly what happpens if it helps...when I start the computer and let everything load up, I can go to my documents, then into the movie folder when I try and play anything the screen freezes, it makes no difference what it is it freezes. Sometimes it will load all the way up and start playing and then freeze sometimes it will just freeze. Well any help would be appreciated.
