Radeon owners, could post some benchmark results for me? Preferably Evolva benchmarks...

Just running into some trouble with D3D on my Radeon. It might just be one game (Hitman) or the drivers. I'm downloading the Evolva demo right now to see if it's D3D or not. I figured I might as well get some benchmark results from others. I have the plain 32 meg DDR card.

I have a retail 64 mb vivo Radeon, not oc, so it is running at 183/183, using the 3063 drivers (came with the cd, no registry tweaks. I got a score of 3714 at 1024*768*32, z-buffer 24bit, frame buffer triple, vsync off, d3d hardware T&L. At 1024*768*16, z-buffer 16bit, d3d hardware T&L I get 3801.

Timedemo1 Q3 1024*768 32 bit everything on max 58 fps.

My system (Dell XPS T500)P3 500 mhz,Intel 440 bx,7200 13.6 hdd, Soundblaster live,256 100 (mhz mb) ram, 17 " dell monitor, 8* dvd rom, Plextor 12/10/32A

I upgraded my TNT2 (Viper 770d) and cinemaster decodercard to the Radeon 64mb vivo retail.
With my tnt2 I got a 3dmark score of 2481 at At 1024*768*16, z-buffer 16bit.

That is very subpar performance for your card.

Rellik I got 3330. I wasn't able to publish that result. Was the lower score supposed to happen? I won't be able to investigate further until after Christmas.

Hmm, a lower score was certainly NOT what I had in mind.

Very strange indeed. But then again, some cards/monitors do have troubles with V-sync disabled. Theoretically the score is supposed to go up.

I will conduct a review of the Geforce 2 GTS 32 MB (ELSA) and a Radeon
64 DDR bulk in 4 weeks. These online reviews are all with old drivers
and therefore are not valid anymore.

If everything goes through, I´ll post the link when its done..

Hey Old Fart. I spec them at work so I get what I want. Checking the compatibility with my existing network. ;)

The registry tweaks boosted 16 bit performance. Not sure which one exactly. Could have been HyperZ, HeirarchialZ or FastZclearEnabled. Did them all at once so I'm not sure which one did the trick.

They are designed to all work together. As a trilogy they form the complete HyperZ specification.
