Radeon Owners - A couple of questions

I just got my Radeon DDR (32) from one of the deals a while back. From what I have read I am a little curious as to how it behaves.

Firstly: In Powerstrip under performance, only one clock speed is adjustable (the memory clock), the engine clock is set as N/A and I cannot change it. It was showing 148.5 when I received the card but I changed it to 183 and all is well. I am wondering why the engine clock would be locked, even if they were meant to be run at the same clk speed.

Secondly: I am running the latest Win2k drivers and I cannot find any of the entries in the registry to tweak. Did the new drivers relocate them? For the life of me I cannot find them.

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have a slightly out of date version of powerstrip. You should download the latest beta from here. The memory and gpu clock are locked together though, and this is the way it should be on Radeons.

Not sure about your Win2k issue, but I'm betting you can get the answer on the rage3d forums, if you don't get it here.

(rage3d.com forums seem to be down at the moment though).

Thanks snow and taz, I am running PS 2.78, shouldn't that be current enough?

Update: Upgraded to PS 3.0b, clock problem solved and interface is smoother too.

Also the reg thing is troubling, I know they moved it with the new 2k drivers, just can't see where 🙁.

Yeah, I heard that with the 3092 drivers, they moved (and hid?) the reg settings, but I didn't stay to find out where they are.
