Radeon overclocking

I keep hearing radeon doesnt scale very well with overclocking. the thing is my 32mb ddr could barely do 180/180 (rain effects beyond that)... just exactly how much of boost do you get from overclocking? if the differential is significant i might wanna ditch the current one and get me a 64megger with 5.5ns ram... help me decide, will ya 🙂
 
from 166/166 to 205/205 i get little over 10% improvement generaly. but that 10% still applies to 190/190. meaning i dont see much difference between 190/190 and 205/205. so generally i dont think it's good to overclock yet, since i dont think powerstrip is stable enough.
 
thanx, i guess i will stick to what i have for now... another question! would supercooling ram chips with a peliter gonna let me clock it higher? i know memory is resistor, not a transistor so that doesnt sound like a plausilbe idea... but who knows 🙂
