Radeon? Nice 2d but is it really not a contender to the geforce 2?

Thinking about the radeon. Wanting one. Dunno why though. I need the 2d performance and since radeon seems to be the choice there i guess i shouldm get one. But i love games and overclocking my geforce mx. Damn. Geforce 2 gts or radeon? answer?
 
Hold on to the Geforce 2 MX I would say. Then get a Geforce 3 when the price comes down. Its got great 2D or wait for R200 to see what they have to offer.
