Radeon LE --> Radeon DDR Under Win2k

I currently have a TNT2U from creative. I'm looking to go the Radeon LE --> Radeon DDR route. I have searched the forums and have found no benchmarks about this card running under win2k. Would someone be able to post some benchmarks of theirs or point me to some place? Do you think this would be a viable upgrade path? (for gaming and photoshop mostly) Or should i get a card from nvidia instead. Thx.
 
I'm VERY happy with my Radeon under 2k. I suppose OGL works a bit better than D3D, but it's getting better and better.

I'd check out Rage3d.com for people's opinions on how they're enjoying their card under Win2k.
 
Celeron 880 plus Win 2000

Q3 demo001 everything maxed 1024x768x32 = >70 fps
UT in D3D not quite as smooth as my Voodoo 3.

2D gorgeous and stable as hell.
 
Eug: DId you do the d3dim700.dll or whatever the dim.dll is?

While I found that it's note QUITE as fast with my Radeon as my v3, and while my Win98 scores are much faster with the radeon than in 2k, my LOW framerate is much higher, if that makes any sense.

Meaning it doesn't go quite as fast, but it never dips as low as it used to in 98 or the v3 card. So I have a pretty stable 50fps or so in UT at 1024x7 and my duron 650.
 
Thanks for the opinions guys. Just wondering, did you all flash the bios or just tweak the registry to enable hyperZ?
And one more thing. I heard that the frame rates take a dive with the use of smoke grenades in counterstrike. Is this true?
