radeon LE problems-any help

just replaced my voodoo 3 2000 with a radeon LE. all settings seem to work fine
but when I try to run 3dmark 2000 it runs very jerky. It will complete the benchmark-
my last score was around 1800 3d marks at 1024x768 32 bit. MY system -tyan trinity 400,celeron 466,128 meg pc100, diamond max 40 15gig. i have tryed changing memory
settings, agp settings in bios, tryed powerstrip . nothing seems to change the
jerky frame rates. (note the jerky motion is intermitent)does anyone have any ideas?
could it be the card is not compatible with my motherboard? confused!

thanks taz4158 -but no luck. i entered the values but its still behaving the
same. example when helicopter fires missles there is a pause and when other
chopper blows up it pauses in a jerky motion. any other suggestions. does
my monitor settings /refresh rate etc effect this? not enough memory in system?

Standard question:
Did you remove ALL entries relating to your old card from the reg and your system?

not sure how to do that correctly. do i just erase anything to
do with 3dfx?

could this just be a compatibility problem since
i have a via chipset? just wondering if i should keep
the card or try something like a gel force?

Have u played some games and see how they run? and make sure you reinstall the Via 4in1 after you install the Radeon drivers because the Radeon drivers replace the via gart.

games seem to run fine. just wish i could figure out
why it will not run the benchmark smoothly. my old voodoo 3 2000
ran the benchmark fine. i reloaded the via4in1 no change.
