Hum, your chips always ran hotter, even the vrms and they seem to draw more power too.


Well at least the one, not sure about your new one.

Probably stands to reason we'd have different views on the cooler :)

Very true. Perhaps I would have better off with some lower ASIC cards? Both of mine are 89% and they get hot. The new card runs hot as well. I just got it up to 1250Mhz on the core in Valley, but it's starts to artifact towards the end of the test and even the Accelero can't tame the heat. Water is what these cards really need... Oh well.. I'm not going that route, too much money. Might as well buy a GTX 780 Classy or a new R9 290X. I'll stick with these for awhile though, they perform great.

Some reviewers used to compare performance-per-watt... any still do? My landlord hates high bills... :(
