Radeon drivers

This clip was taken from an article on the sharky extreme site about the gforce2 ultra vs some other cards.

"On a side note, we used the current supported drivers for the RADEON. There are "Special Purpose" unsupported drivers from ATI that have dramatically better performance, but since they can be considered beta and are not supported by ATI, we are not using numbers recorded with that driver."

I was just wondering if anyone has tried these, and if so, just how much better are they in terms of fps or any other measurments?

if v.3063 is what they are talking bout, i use them, havnt used anything else. pretty much everything i throw at it seems to run pretty smooth... too bad my card doesnt like getting clocked higher (i get 'rain' effects) :(

hehe i can clock mine 200/200 noproblems :D
guess i got the lucky batch or somthing.
but i did replace original heatsink and i also added ram sinks beacuse the rams were pretty warm and now those sinks get pretty warm too, so it should be better.
