Hey all,

I tried to uninstall my Radeon drivers and put new ones on my machine last night. BIG MISTAKE! I uninstalled everything that I needed to, and then put the driver on that I wanted to try, the machine booted fine and all, and then when it got to the point of windows actually finishing its sttartup, the screen went blank. I still have the windows sound for the startup screen. Windows is running, I just have a blank screen. Went into safe-mode to uninstall and try again, and to no avail. I even tried putting the driver I had back on, and once again, no good. I am running windows me (couldn't use the system restore either!) T-bird 900, gigabyte 7zxr. Any ideas, or do I jusr reformat and start over? :(

I had a problem similar to this once. In my case, windows was trying to use the TV out port rather than the VGA connection. Might try hooking the box up to a TV.

I am using the Radeon LE - there are no TV outs on that one. Oh, why do I tweak? Sometimes it drives me mad!

The only thing that I can think to do would be to go to www.rage3d.com, and get one of the radeon tweak utilities and use the purge registry option.. basically removes all reg entries related to the radeon.

Good luck,
