Radeon Cards: Which one?

Here is what I want a new video card for:
1. Use in Win98SE, 2k, and Linux
2. Games (Half-Life, AOE and AOE2, etc)
3. DVD Playback
4. Video out to VCR or TV
5. Dual Mon support

Ok, there you have it, what card(s) do you recommend from Nvidia or Ati. Those are the two that I am looking at. Also, I have a budget of $140. Help me out here, I want to replace my Diamond TNT2 Ultra card.

If you want Dual Head ATI has the Dual Head VE card. I think they reduced its memory bandwidth to 64 instead of 128, don't take my word for it though... i didn't look deep into it. ATI drivers have always been not so good, if you know what i mean... a though i believe they are trying to improve on that matter. you could go with a g400/450 if your more into working than gaming. you will get excellent dual display and solid drivers to boot. why not team up graphics cards though. get an agp radeon LE and team it up with a g200 or something cheap with good 2D. Anyway, hope this helps, peace out.

I would get a GeForce MX card since it has great 3D and Twinview which is nvidia's version of dualhead. Of course, nothing rivals the dualhead features of Matrox, but it has terrible 3D.
Also, nvidia always has the best driver support for ALL OS's. The only thing bad about the nvidia cards is that their 2D quality is lacking compared to all other cards when the resolution is set to 1024x960 or higher. But for you budget and your needs, the MX cards should be perfect.
