Radeon beta driver

Has anyone tried to use the beta driver for the Radeon?

It run my windows ME fine w/ the Asus A7v, but will show an "out of sync error when I play most of my game. It doesn't run delta force, Deus Ex. It will run FAkk Heavy Metal II. Anybody know what the "out of sync message means.
