Quick question: I need to upgrade my video card (My Rage Fury Pro 128 is now the bottleneck of my 1GHZ system). How is the Radeon's performance under win2k? Would it be worth the investment?
Seems to work for me... 3dmark2001 scores of ~2900. I have a BX board though. I've heard there are some problems with other boards or other chipsets and win2k.
Slightly relevant question: I wanna upgrade my board but I wanna make sure my Radeon will work. Any Dual FCPGA boards that'll work with a radeon and win2k?
Well, I've seen benchmarks (check here for a Win2k and win98 comparison) that have shown that the Radeon performance really goes down in Win2K. I personally use Win98, so it does not really apply to me, but if you are using Win2k, I might take a look at perhaps the G2MX.
