Radeon and Via Motherboard, HELP!@#$

EMAN

Ok, I got a new computer @ my work. It's a piece of junk with a crappy motherboard.

DFI CA64-EN mother board I don't know what kind of chipset this is but I believe it's apollo pro 133(their web site is down)

Ok I just put in my Radeon 32 megger LE supposedly it's only running @ agp 4x with no DMA but it ran slow so I upgraded 4 in 1 service pack to 1429v and now it's running @ agp 1x with DMA.

The older version was 4.24(1).

How do I run it @ AGP 4x and DMA???

When you install the service pack there is an option to install the agp drivers in turbo mode. "Turbo" mode for VIA is basically AGP 4x. When you install the IDE drivers there's also an option to enable DMA. Just make sure you check the box.

Uninstall the drivers and then install them again and you should be set.
