when i startup q3 on my Radeon 32 ddr, a blank white screen appears. the game is running and i can hear the sounds, but just nothing appears on my screen....do i need particular drivers or settings?
 
Pretty odd. Some more info? Version of drivers, Q3, OS, rest of your hardware, etc? Do other games work ok? Did you upgrade from a different video card?
 
KenDoGG, hows it going? A blank white screen is no big deal? Isn't it kind of hard to play when you cant see what you are doing? 😉

I think Kendogg doesn't realise that vman's screen stays like that permanently.
 
This is a small hiccup with Windows displaying the correct video memory map. You can work around this by using ALT-TAB several times followed by ENTER to reselect Quake...might have to type blind but a menu of applications should come up.
