Radeon and Adobe Premiere 6

According to the guy from ATI, he said Adobe PRemiere 6.0 would have Directshow compatiblilty, but i got it and i don't see where there is compatibility. only IEEE, VfW and QT. any suggestions?

There are indications that some early versions AP6's were shipped without directshow support and it was later developed as a beta product for testing and then included in some later releases, and IEEE, VfW and QT are included and fully functioning, you just don't see directshow at the driver level. I'm sure that Adobe saw directshow as some sort of bizarre joke and that everyone eventually would come to their senses and drop it, then again were dealing with Microsoft and ATI so... it is in my version and works like sh!it. Premiere 6 or directshow and the AIW-Radeon is basically a worthless direct capture option. It's full of bugs and doesn't work properly, you have to question the mental abilities of those at ATI to only include DirectShow with the Radeon. At the moment to only include DirectShow as the capture driver, is a step back to the stone age of video capture.
