I have a Radeon 8500 (AGP) and an ALL-IN-WONDER VE (PCI) installed in the same machine.

Here is a screen cap of everything.

I installed the: tv-capture-wdm-6-14-10-6207v1.exe
I installed the: mmc-8-1-0-0-dao-mdac.exe
I installed the: mmc-8-5-0-0.exe
I installed the: wxp-w2k-radeon-7-91-030625a-010027c-efg.exe (Later on, just to update them)

As you can see from the screen cap, my device manager doesn't show that the WDM drivers are in effect.

The other window is the System Check thingy in the MMC properties. There are 2 errors.... one about DirectX, the other about the WDM drivers...

I also updated DirectX to DirectX9a or something like that.

The TV Capture and TV Tuner does not work, it just says that there is not a capture device...

Can I capture with this card, while I have the Radeon 8500 in there too? I think that might be the problem. :(

Hi ,My guess would be to reinstall the WDM driver again ,,, DX9 , once it is there, all drivers go over the installed DX API... hope that helps

I un-installed everything and re-done it all a few times. I also just re-installed the WDM ones.... but it still doesn't show.

The AIW must be the primary card for it to work, try changing the AIW to primary in the displays tab of the advanced display properties and see if it works.

You might also want to check out www.rage3d.com/board as all they discuss there are ATI video cards. They have a section devoted specifically to All-In-Wonder/TV-Wonder/VIVO cards. Try in there as they have some really good advice for fixing these types of problems (several people from ATI read that forum and help out).

Aw... I think I do have to make it the primary card....

Crap... I wanted to use my 8500 and just use the capture ability of the AIW.... :(

Maybe I will have to get a new 9700AIW then...

You can still do it, you can swich the primary display in Windows. Leave the 8500 the primary card for gaming untill you need to capture video, or watch TV...then just switch to the AIW in the control panel. You're not going to want to capture video while gaming anyway.
